Evergreen trees don't easily sense the change of seasons,
but I saw flowers blooming elsewhere and decided to check this one out.
New leaves had sprouted, and although there were some withered patches, the tree looked healthy overall.

I couldn't find any flowers, but they usually bloom around May,
so I guess I was late in coming. The flowers are plain and hard to find.

The roots were lifting up the pavement, so I thought they needed to be removed.
When I visited this time, I found the pavement had been removed,
exposing the roots extending to the south. Ideally,
the fence on the nursery side should also be removed to create more space,
but for now, it seems appropriate to leave it as is.
